We are seeking to recruit an Associate Staff Veterinarian in Anesthesiology. This is a one-year term position, although it can likely be renewed beyond the first year. A position description is included below. While the primary responsibilities will be in anesthesia and perioperative care, opportunities exist for individuals also interested in pain management. Dedicated time available for research or educational activities is negotiable.

Among the many nearby attractions are world-class wineries of Sonoma and Napa Valleys, fantastic hiking and alpine skiing around beautiful Lake Tahoe, whitewater rafting in the American River, and miles of scenic Pacific Ocean beaches.
If you are possibly interested in coming to California and UC Davis, please do not hesitate to contact Dr. Bruno Pypendop ([email protected]), Chair of the Department of Surgical and Radiological Sciences, or me ([email protected]).
