The Department of Clinical Sciences, Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine seeks qualified candidates for a Clinical Track Assistant/Associate/Full Professor position in the Dentistry and
Pet Health Center services at the Veterinary Health Center. This position will have duties predominately with the dental service and may have some primary care responsibilities. The dentistry service provides general dental care for small animals. The Pet
Health Center operates as a small animal local practice which provides wellness and sick patient services. The goals of the Dentistry Service are to teach students and develop their entry-level skills in dentistry while providing more advanced service to our
clients. The successful candidate will join a dentistry/primary care team that includes 3 clinicians (1 with primary dental focus), 1 dental service technician and 2 primary care technicians.
The appointment will consist of delivery of clinical service, clinical teaching and the possibility of didactic teaching. Other responsibilities include occasional, wet labs and outreach activities in the
community to support the mission of the VHC.
Applicants must possess a DVM or equivalent degree. Preference will be given to candidates with additional training in dentistry, multiple years of clinical experience, internship training, or ABVP certification.
Salary and rank will be commensurate with the applicant’s experience and qualifications.
