Assistant Professor of Emergency/Critical Care Medicine.
The College of Veterinary Medicine, Mississippi State University, is seeking applications for a Clinical Track position in Emergency/Critical Care Medicine. Qualifications include DVM or equivalent degree. Diplomate status in the American
College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care is required. Teaching responsibilities will include didactic and clinical training for veterinary professional students, graduate students, veterinary medical technology students and house officers enrolled
in the academic program. Service responsibilities involve clinical case management, secondary emergency duty, and consultation with private practitioners. The criticalist will be expected to enhance the quality of patient care and teaching in ICU, improve
the quality of the AHC Emergency Service, and consult with our affiliated clinics to improve patient care. Participation in research projects and continuing education programs is expected.
