The Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences, Oklahoma State University Center for Veterinary Health Sciences invites applications for a tenure track or clinical track faculty position in Veterinary Anesthesiology.
Duties will include teaching and clinical service in the Veterinary Medical Hospital, support of house officer training programs, and didactic lectures and laboratory instruction for veterinary students. Development of innovative teaching programs and interest
in primary investigator or collaborative research/scholarship is expected in proportion with the type of appointment and extent of clinical service. A DVM degree or equivalent is required. Board certification by the American College of Veterinary Anesthesia
and Analgesia (ACVAA) or European College of Veterinary Anesthesia and Analgesia (ECVAA) is highly desirable; however
individuals who have completed residency training and are board-eligible will be considered. Appointment will be at the level of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor. Professional rank and salary will be commensurate with
the candidate’s qualifications and experience. The hiree will also be required to apply for and possess an Oklahoma veterinary faculty license. The Anesthesiology Service is well-equipped and provides service for a diverse caseload of companion animal, exotic,
equine and farm animal patients.
Stillwater is a town of approximately 50,000 year-round residents where the positive attributes of a small town are combined with many amenities and opportunities usually found only in larger cities situated
