ASSISTANT/ASSOCIATE/PROFESSOR
IN VETERINARY CARDIOLOGY
The Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences, Oklahoma State University Center for Veterinary Health Sciences invites applications for a
tenure-track or clinical track faculty position in veterinary cardiology. Duties include clinical and classroom instruction for veterinary students, clinical service in the Boren Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital, support of house officer training
programs and development of a research program in veterinary cardiology. Responsibilities will be shared with our current cardiologist. Qualifications include a DVM or comparable veterinary degree, residency training in cardiology and certification by the
American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine, Specialty of Cardiology. Candidates qualified to take the cardiology certification examination are encouraged to apply. Eligibility for faculty licensure in Oklahoma is required.
Facilities include designated examination and procedure rooms, GE Cardiovascular Ultrasound System (with transesophageal echo and work station), Zoll Medical M Series CCT, Forest Holter monitors and software for in house analysis, and DRE
8 patient Telemetry Monitoring System with remote access. There is a GE OEC 9900 C-arm dedicated to cardiac and interventional radiology procedures.
