Assistant Professor of Clinical Anesthesiology (clinical track)

Veterinarian with advanced training in anesthesiology.  Board eligibility by the American College of Veterinary Anesthesia and Analgesia or the European College of Veterinary Anaesthesia and Analgesia is required; board certification is preferred. Clinical experience and competence in veterinary anesthesiology is required. Demonstrated aptitude/experience in teaching is required.  Documented research record or potential to develop a clinical research program in anesthesiology or pain management is required; emphasis in pain management is preferred. Must possess outstanding interpersonal and communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work with others in a collegial team atmosphere.  A valid license to practice veterinary medicine in California is required before employment (California Business and Professions Code Section 4846-4857).  Individuals not eligible for a full California license must obtain a University License (California Business and Professions Code Section 4848.1) by the time of appointment.
