degree and board certification in Veterinary Internal Medicine (ACVIM-SAIM or ECVIM-CA). A PhD is preferred.
The successful candidate will partner with four board-certified faculty internists in providing Internal Medicine services at Cornell University’s Companion Animal Hospital, a comprehensive teaching and referral center with state-of-the-art facilities and equipment.
The position responsibilities include shared oversight and training of five Internal Medicine residents, rotating interns, and veterinary students. The candidate is expected to provide excellent clinical care and client communication, effective didactic and
laboratory instruction to veterinary students and house officers, and active continuing education to the veterinary community. It is expected that the successful candidate will develop or continue an independent funded research program in addition to conducting
