Small Animal Oncology, Clinical Track – Oregon State University

The OSU, College of Veterinary Medicine in Corvallis, Oregon is seeking applicants for a full-time, Clinical Assistant Professor of Small Animal Oncology starting as early as May 1st, 2017. Required: DVM or comparable degree and completion of an ACVIM-certified residency. Must possess clinical experience in oncology and have excellent patient care and communication skills. Preference may be given to those with ACVIM certification, experience in research and teaching, experience with conducting clinical trials, and a demonstrable commitment to promoting and enhancing diversity. Successful candidates will run an oncology service with students and house officers, including conducting clinical trials. They will interface with other clinical services including medicine, surgery, critical care, anesthesiology, diagnostic imaging and cardiology. Teaching, research and college service will make up the balance of the appointment.
