Assistant Professor, Large Animal Medicine – Oregon State University

The OSU, College of Veterinary Medicine in Corvallis, Oregon is seeking applicants for a full-time, Assistant Professor of Large Animal Medicine, Clinical or Tenure Track, with an earliest start date of August 1st, 2017. Required: DVM or comparable degree and completion of an ACVIM or ECVIM-certified training program. Must possess clinical experience in Large Animal Medicine and have excellent patient care and communication skills. Preference may be given to those with ACVIM or ECVIM certification, experience in research and teaching, and a demonstrable commitment to promoting and enhancing diversity. New graduates of training programs are welcome to apply and dedicated time for board preparation can be negotiated.  Successful candidates will join our Large Animal Medicine section, which provides clinic service to clients and clinical training to veterinary students and house officers. They will interface with other clinical services including Large Animal Surgery, Diagnostic Imaging and Anesthesiology. Teaching is also integral to this position, and scholarly and service work is required.
