The Department of Clinical Sciences, College of Veterinary Medicine, Kansas State University, invites applications for a Tenure Track Assistant/Associate Professor in Beef Production Medicine. Applicants must
hold a DVM or an equivalent degree. Advanced training in epidemiology, an advanced academic degree, specialty status in a relevant discipline, and/or five years of experience in a food animal practice setting are preferred credentials. Practice background
and clinical experience in beef cattle production medicine is preferred.
Kansas State University has several faculty with an emphasis on beef cattle medicine and management, and the successful candidate will be joining an active teaching and research team. The successful candidate
will be expected to provide teaching and participate in research related to beef and herd health management. Teaching activities will include didactic lectures, small group discussions, and laboratories for instruction of 3rd and 4th
year veterinary students as well as graduate students. Developing and delivering continuing education for practicing veterinarians is also expected. Salary will be commensurate with the applicant’s experience and qualifications.
