Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of Small Animal Emergency and Critical Care (tenure track)
Veterinarian with advanced training in veterinary emergency and critical care required. American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care board certification, or eligibility for board
certification, required. PhD or advanced research training in a discipline associated with veterinary emergency and critical care preferred. Documented research record or potential to develop an independent research program in the field of veterinary emergency
and critical care required. Demonstrated aptitude/experience in clinical instruction of DVM students and residents in veterinary emergency and critical care required. Demonstrated aptitude/ability to develop creative instructional programs for graduate students
in the classroom and laboratory required. Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a demonstrated ability to work with others in a collegial team atmosphere. The position includes a 50% clinical effort assignment to the Small Animal
Emergency and Critical Care Service of the William R. Pritchard Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital (VMTH). A complete position description is available on-line at:
