CLINICAL ASSISTANT PROFESSOR of DENTISTRY AND ORAL SURGERY
DEPARTMENT OF CLINICAL SCIENCES
NC STATE COLLEGE OF VETERINARY MEDICINE
The Department of Clinical Sciences at NCSU, College of Veterinary Medicine is seeking a non-tenure track Clinical Assistant Professor of Dentistry and Oral Surgery.
Qualifications: Requires DVM (or equivalent degree) and eligibility for veterinary licensure (or faculty certification) in North Carolina. Diplomate status in the American Veterinary Dental College or completion of an AVDC (or equivalent) residency is preferred. Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work with others in a collegial team atmosphere.
Responsibilities: The individual hired will provide clinical dental/oral surgery services and related teaching in the Health and Wellness Center, as well as providing didactic teaching and laboratory instruction in basic veterinary dentistry. Clinical research and scholarly activities are expected. The chosen candidate will participate in continuing education, public relations, and College of Veterinary Medicine committees.
Salary: Commensurate with candidate’s experience and qualifications
