We are currently recruiting for the following position:
Assistant/Associate Professor of Clinical Equine Ophthalmology
Veterinarian with advanced training in equine ophthalmology. Board certification from the American College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists/American Board of Veterinary Ophthalmology is required.
Clinical experience and competence in veterinary ophthalmology with documented experience & expertise in equine ophthalmology is required. Experience developing and running an equine ophthalmology program preferred. Demonstrated aptitude and experience in
teaching, particularly clinical instruction, required. Documented record of creative scholarship or potential to develop a clinical research program in ophthalmology or vision science is required. Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
and a demonstrated ability to work with others in a collegial team atmosphere. The position includes a 70% Clinical effort assignment to the Ophthalmology Service of the William R. Pritchard Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital (VMTH). The primary clinical
effort will be directed towards establishment and growth of a Clinical Ophthalmology Service within the VMTH for horses and other large animal species, although some work with small animals will also be expected. A complete position description is available
