Tenure or Clinical Track Faculty Position in
Medical Oncology
Assistant, Associate of Full Professor
The Department of Clinical Sciences and the Veterinary Health Center, College of Veterinary Medicine,
Kansas State University, invites applications for a clinical or tenure-track faculty position in veterinary medical oncology at the rank of assistant, associate, or full Professor. Appointment will be dependent upon the career goals, qualifications, and preference
of the successful applicant. The successful candidate will join an established oncology service with medical and radiation oncology,
an approved training program and dedicated oncology support staff. The candidate will participate in clinical service, veterinary student and house officer instruction and research to support the academic missions of the Department and VHC. The Oncology Service
maintains a busy and diverse caseload with an active clinical research program. A dedicated research laboratory with a research associate and clinical trials coordinator are available to support research endeavors. Strong in-house internal medicine, soft tissue
and orthopedic surgery, dermatology, ophthalmology, diagnostic imaging, anesthesia and exotic pet & zoological medicine services provide clinical support for the oncology caseload. Applicants must possess a DVM or equivalent degree and have board certification from the American College
of Veterinary Internal Medicine, Specialty of Oncology, have completed oncology residency training or be enrolled in the third year of oncology residency training. Research training and advanced degree(s) are desirable for tenure-track candidates. We are
