Applications are invited for a one-year term Assistant Professor faculty position in Small Animal Internal Medicine beginning August 1, 2015, to serve for sabbatical
leave replacement. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
The Western College of Veterinary Medicine: The WCVM is western Canada’s
regional college of veterinary medicine. Approximately 80 students per year from the four western provinces and the northern jurisdictions are admitted each year to the DVM program. The College also includes 140 graduate students, interns and residents.

The Veterinary Medical Centre: The VMC has undergone substantial expansion
and renovation, and it is currently an outstanding state-of-the-art facility serving western Canada as an AVMA and AAHA accredited hospital and referral centre.
Responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities of the successful candidate include: High quality instruction in Small Animal Internal Medicine to undergraduate and postgraduate veterinary
students; participation in the clinical teaching and service programs of the Small Animal Clinic of the Veterinary Medical Centre; and contributions to continuing education. There will be opportunities for scholarship and clinical research in Internal Medicine
in collaboration with other faculty.
Qualifications:
Applicants must possess a D.V.M. degree or its equivalent and must be eligible for licensure to practice veterinary medicine in Saskatchewan. Candidates must be board certified
in the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine. Demonstrated teaching excellence is preferred.
Salary & Benefits:
The current salary range for an Assistant Professor is $88,798.00 to $112,678.00. This position comes with a comprehensive benefits package which includes life insurance (compulsory
