Cardiology- Oregon State University

Oregon State University, College of Veterinary Medicine is seeking applicants for an Assistant Professor of Cardiology, Clinical or Tenure Track with an earliest start date of July 1st, 2022. Required: DVM or comparable degree and completion of an ACVIM or ECVIM-certified residency in Cardiology. Must possess clinical experience in Cardiology and have excellent patient care and communication skills. Preference may be given to those with ACVIM or ECVIM-Cardiology certification, experience in research and teaching, experience in advanced cardiologic techniques, and a demonstrable commitment to promoting and enhancing diversity. Final year residents are welcome to apply and dedicated time for board preparation can be made available.  Successful candidates will run a Cardiology service with students and house officers. They will interface with other clinical services including Surgery, Internal Medicine, Critical Care, Diagnostic Imaging, Anesthesiology, and Oncology. Research and teaching are also integral parts of this position, with time commitments dependent on the type of appointment.
