The Veterinary Clinical Sciences Department at Louisiana State University is searching for a full-time
integrative and rehabilitation medicine clinician to be part of the Integrative Medicine and
Rehabilitation Service (IMRS). The position has primary responsibility in Veterinary Teaching
Hospital and will be expected to perform integrative services, including, but not limited to, traditional
Chinese veterinary medicine (TCVM), acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, nutraceuticals, dietary
supplements, and physical medicine, including manual therapies, device assisted modalities, such
as laser therapy and ultrasound therapy, therapeutic exercises, and hydrotherapy. All species that
are seen at the VTH are eligible for integrative therapies, including, small, large, exotic, and wildlife.
This is a faculty position with an appointment in the Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences with
a concurrent appointment to the professional staff of the Veterinary Teaching Hospital. The new hire
will join the IMRS service which currently consists of one full time faculty member, two full-time
technicians, and a CCRP nurse.
70% Clinical instruction of Phase II students and house officers, participation in the Integrative
Medicine and Rehabilitation Service of the Veterinary Teaching Hospital, including examination and
treatment planning for patients, discussion of findings and options with owners,  and cooperation
with other clinical faculty in clinical teaching and hospital practice. 
30% Scholarly activities to include didactic teaching and collaborative research, and participation in
SVM committees, as time allows.
