The Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences at the College of Veterinary Medicine, Oklahoma State University invites applications for
two open tenure track or clinical track faculty positions, one in small animal soft tissue surgery and one in small animal orthopedic surgery, or two general surgeons willing to work in both soft tissue and orthopedic surgery.
Duties will include:
Development of innovative teaching programs and interest in primary investigator or collaborative research/scholarship in small animal surgery will be favorably looked upon and in proportion with the type
of appointment and extent of clinical service.
A DVM degree or equivalent is required. Board certification by the American College of Veterinary Surgeons (ACVS), European College of Veterinary Surgeons (ECVS), or candidates qualified to take the ACVS/ECVS
certification examination will be considered. Appointment will be at the level of Assistant, Associate, or Professor. Professional rank and salary will be commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications and experience. The teaching hospital is well-equipped
to see a diverse caseload of soft tissue, orthopedic, and neurosurgical cases, including minimally invasive procedures. A state-of-the-art, fully integrated minimally invasive surgical suite is also under construction to complement the wide variety of existing
equipment available.
