In VETERINARY ANESTHESIOLOGY & PAIN MANAGEMENT
The Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences, Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine invites applications
for a full time clinical track or tenure track faculty position in Veterinary Anesthesiology and Pain Management at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level.
Duties will include:
The positions offers opportunities to develop innovative teaching programs as well as participation in collaborative research/scholarship
activities as a primary or co-investigator.
The Anesthesiology Service is well equipped and provides service for a diverse and growing caseload of companion animal,
exotic, equine and farm animal patients. Well-trained, dedicated veterinary technicians support the key role of the Service within the Veterinary Teaching Hospital.
Applicants must possess a DVM degree or equivalent. Board certification by the American College of Veterinary Anesthesia
and Analgesia (ACVAA) or European College of Veterinary Anesthesia and Analgesia (ECVAA) is highly desirable; however individuals who have completed a residency training and are board-eligible will be considered. Applicants in possession of a non-AVMA accredited
DVM degree will be able to obtain a faculty license from the Oklahoma Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners.
The ideal candidate should make collegiality, cooperation,
team work and willingness to assist and collaborate with specialists in other disciplines a priority. The ability to build meaningful professional relationships and to contribute to a friendly, welcoming and enjoyable working environment is
highly regarded at OSU-CVM.
Professional rank and salary will be commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications and experience.
